Literally just noticed this as well.
One of the greats!
Will be missed.
Albums will be played with respect to this reggae legend. RIP mirror man
Rather belatedly I’ve just read one of the legends of the reggae and dub scene has died.
Probably lesser known to many, but his influence cannot be underestimated.

Maybe an example of how genius and madness are so closely linked. A true hero and well worth your attention if you don't know his work.
“I am the upsetter”is one of the best ska tracks out there imho.
RIP
A truly talented producer, with a massive back catalogue of reggae hits and the king of dub, had a lot of time for his music.
I was thinking of going to see him later in the year, sadly another ship that's sailed...
Not my usual thing, but his influence on a lot of bands I like made him of more than average interest to me.
I hadn't realised he was so old, though, so a decent innings, as they say.

Breitling Cosmonaute 809 - What's not to like?
Reggae isn't my thing, but he was pretty amazing. Worked with many bands and had huge influence across genres. All my muso snob mates were into him and dragged me willingly to dozens of nights where he DJ'd in Shoreditch.
Sad to hear this
Genius…
Was just listening to this…. Very very cool…
