Would have been almost free motoring.
It may have changed but my brother runs a Model X and told me that there are no superchargers in South Wales.

Have you picked up the Enyaq yet?

They’ve got some in Bridgend and Cardiff now, 8 at each site although I expect they get busy.

So about the same cost as my 5 series 2.0d I stick with diesel less faff

I wondered if that was the response you were setting up…

Based on 50mpg I’d say you’re looking at £31 to get 250 miles in a 520d which is still a lot more than £21.

To get cost parity with the Tesla charging at a Supercharger a 520d would have to hit 75 miles per gallon, which I don’t think it would.

Also good luck refuelling your 520d at home later on, where the Tesla ‘refill’ would be £10.50…

There are eight in the town I work in. That was the number one reason for me looking into it.

Indeed. My 520D got a laudable 40.32 mpg on average over 2,155 of mostly motorway miles this August. Decent for a big car at speed, but it amounted to >£325 in diesel alone; Assuming I never charged at any of the homes I went to and only used the Tesla supercharger network, it would have cost me £181...

Apologies Dave, I answered the first part of your question but forgot to answer the second part.
I’m collecting it a week today.
