If the bike is useable, can you get the bike back until the parts arrive?
If not, I think a second bike is the order of the day!
I bought a new motorcycle in March. It came with a 2 year warranty.
It's recently had an issue and is in for work under warranty.
The approved garage has inspected the issue and asked for spare parts to be sent to them under warranty from the wholesaler (MotoGB). The parts are on at least a 2 month delivery which means I miss the end of the decent weather.
Have I any recourse against the original dealer or the wholesaler or do I just have to suck up missing the last couple of months of summer?
Cheers,
Adam

You could call it a consequential loss, their Ts & Cs probably state that they cannot be held responsible for Consequential losses or loss of amenity due to warranty failures.
You could ask for the warranty to be extended but not their fault about the parts its a worldwide issue at the moment
Cheers folks.
I have a trip planned to NI next month so am going to ask them for a courtesy bike (don't ask, don't get).
Other than that, I guess I'll have to suck it up....
It's not safe to ride without the parts being replaced so taking it back is a no-go.
Thanks again.

Adam.
I work in the motor trade (cars, not bikes) and getting parts at the minute is a nightmare. Not ideal but also not really their fault.
