    Any Timex experts on here.

    As per the title.

I have recently picked this Timex Camper up and would like to know a bit more about it if possible, especially what the number 77 denotes.

These were a continuation of the plastic Benrus issued during Vietnam (I think timex made some as well)
They are non maintainable as far as I know
Not sure on the 77 but they are a nice little watch very light on the wrist.

    They are a front loader
As I say they were designed to be non maintainable (the originals anyway)
So the case can crack if the watch maker is not careful.
