Password forgotten….help.

Like a numpty I’ve forgotten my password…..fingerprint login on MacBook for years. I lost the setting during an update and now can’t recall whatever it was.

I also can’t use the password reset as having been around on here for a very long time my profile email account has long since ceased to be used (I know, I know…..).

I can still access via Tapatalk but can’t see my own password on here….at least I don’t think I can.

Any ideas what I can/should do to retrieve/reset both my password and email?

Try opening "Keychain" on the Macbook. Search for tz-uk in the passwords.

Try opening "Keychain" on the Macbook. Search for tz-uk in the passwords.

Unfortunately I clicked ‘update keychain password’ before realising that I’d entered an older password. So keychain not any help unless it has a history function that I’m not aware of.

It is, at least on iPhone.

Get your profile up - select Home, 3 bars in corner, profile image then 3 dots in corner.

I though you had the answer for a moment there……you’re right that is an option. However…..to change either your email or password you need your…..yes you guessed it, password!

Yes you were right this was indeed the simplest solution (DOH!). Contacted Eddie this morning at last and he's sorted me out. Thanks all.
