    Made For Each Other..

The other day I sprinkled a bit of ground rock salt over a freshly sliced vine tomato - made the taste buds sing, sparkling ice cold cider on a hot summers day is another one of life's great pairs.

So many things work well together and not just food, what is your favourite combo?

Everyone in my family looks at me in disgust when I enjoy one of these.

When I lived north of Yorkshire my local Chinese takeaway would do me the same dish but substitute the sweet and sour sauce with black bean sauce - epic.

All the ingredients for a Margarita, give or take the salt around the rim.

Though try: - in a tall glass add Gin, elderflower cordial, a few frozen red and black currents and tonic water.

    Regards.

Reminds me of getting totally bladdered in Barcelona on a stag do, we were necking baby Guinness as they were called, 1/4 of Irish cream on top of 3/4 Black Sambuca, taste lovely but you go down hill pretty quick!

Hangover was so bad my mate thought he was having a stroke on the transfer going to the airport..

Dairy Milk or Twirl/Flake from the fridge and a nice coffee. From the freezer, I think I would crack my fillings.

Aldi sausage patties, cheese slices and muffin or brioche bun for the perfect homemade sausage muffin.
