Will be missed.
On a strange random occurrence I ended up next to him at a corporate dinner a few years back. Complete gentleman, and a very enjoyable evening.

I'll miss the helmet designs - the chicken was my personal favourite.
What a racer. I very much doubt there will be another like him.
But it’s great that at 42 he can enjoy his retirement knowing he survived.

I will have to go to Silverstone to see him on track for the final time,it wont be the same without him thats for sure.
Grateful to have seen him at his best and a retirement well earned. 🐐
Booking tickets for silverstone in the morning,VRs stand sold out allready.
It's been a great privilege to be a VR46 fan since the start of his career.
What a rider, what an ambassador for the sport? Bike racing probably owes Rossi more than any other rider past, present or future.
Sure Marquez (pre-injury) was perhaps a better rider, but I can't warm to him.
VR will always be the GOAT to me.

I really like VR but to call him the GOAT is debatable. Names like G. Agostini, F Spencer, J Surtees to name just those have all marked their era…

I hope he sticks around the paddock with his team and I would think tries his hand at WEC enduros too which will be entertaining.
He's been an example to many a young racer and it's now their time to shine. Rossi has provided me with a great deal of entertainment over the years and I expect that to continue, if not in MotoGP then in whatever he chooses to take on. I wish him all the best in his 'retirement'.
sorry to see him go, loved watching him at the peak of his prowess. Last few years he has not been at his best and the rest of the world caught up to him. Most learned from him and copied his tricks. Anyway good to see him bow out with grace and with all of his bits pretty much intact.
