All I can say is that we had a private room within a big pub. Was a great venue and we've got a great venue for this next one.

Oh...it's definitely a thing. You'll love it. I found that it kind of brings the hobby to life even more. You make friends, find local people with the same niche interests as you, build up a bit of a network etc.

Oh yeah. There certainly is that element to it. I bought a Lemania off Sweets only because I was able to try it on and also a Smiths Air Ministry from Eddie, also because Sweets had one I could try on....hahaha

Sorry I won't be able to make this one, but certainly hope I can make subsequent ones.
As stated, we were about to hold our second one when the first lockdown happened, so we are hoping to hold them a little more often.
The venue is excellent for us too

My first watch meet. Really enjoyed it. Funnily enough the watches that most people were interested in from my small collection were the ugly mugs so to speak.. The Monaco, the Citizen Bullhead on a bund, and the Gold Super Seville date adjust copy… Thankyou to those who organised it , I will definitely attend the next one
