Rolex Service Centre - St James, London

Thinking of getting my 2008 Submariner Date serviced as it’s running slightly slow and has a couple of scuffs on the buckle.

Does anyone know if you can still just walk in and drop off or whether you now need to book an appointment in advance?

Also, I assume that I just need to take the watch?

Any idea what the cost is nowadays?

You can just walk in and from my enquires a few months ago a service is £600 if I remember correctly. This is obviously excluding a crown or crystal should you require it.

They told me 6-8 weeks but it was a couple of months ago so may have changed since.

Yes, around £600. Interestingly, just heard news that my local AD is to open an authorised Rolex repair/service centre in one of their business premises. So, watches will not need to be returned to St James moving forwards.

I was at RSC last week and they were quoting 6-8 weeks for a service. They take it in, check it over and then send you an email quote for what they think is required with a price.

Do I need to take the warranty card along or just the watch?
