I just love this watch - it’s my daily wear and I just never feel the need to change it
Just look at that dial - the texture is fab
Even a date I can read

If you're gonna do vintage, do it right, no scruffy tat in my collection.

    1969 cal 752 Dynamic

    1962 18ct cal 562 Seamaster

Both fully restored with original dials and handsets, lightly refinished as required to get' em looking sharp again.

    Definitely not for sale.

A DeVille. My first ever watch, bought in 1965 , paid for by saving every month. Wore one for thirty years. Then the hands fell off, never serviced. Very handsome. Omega made fine watches.

I`ve got one of these too, a 1967 Seamaster DeVille in 9ct gold, took ages to find a nice one.

Strange old world. My first, the sixtiescDeVille. Got me through much of my life. Always enjoyed it. And now, my last, a late Daytona. So Omega DeVille, now Rolex Daytona. And, for me, that’s finally the end. What fun it was. Watches can be great fun over the long decades.
Buy a great watch, keep it, cherish it. Never turn it into a ‘commodity’. It’s your own, cherished, watch for life. In one sense, a faithful companion.

A recent new arrival which I'm rather taken with. Part of TH's Heritage Collection and one of a few Cal 11 Monaco's that has the hour indices laid out 'radially' ...those with the horizontal markers make my eyes bleed!
The Heuer branding is nice too.

    HAGWE all :)

G-shock mutant today: GMW-B5000 positive display module, blue camo Ti bezel, jaysandkays adapters and an Erika’s Trident strap. Lightweight, comfy and robust enough to survive a day of gardening.

Have a great weekend everyone (in between rain showers etc!).
