Beware Ltd company Director’s - my company has just been “hijacked”!

I had to vent this somewhere so apologies in advance…..

It was drawn to my attention last night that there had been some “changes” within my company structure.

After some investigation 3 of the 4 directors have been removed, one now with 100% stakehold, and our registered address is now at a flat in London!!!

I cannot believe Companies House has allowed this to happen, a downloadable form was filled in by hand with my signature forged and posted in to change the registered address, according to them this form is taken “in good faith” and the new address added, the scum have then changed our activation code and made all the changes electronically!

What a complete nightmare, as if I don’t have enough to deal with.

I’m told they have a “proof” system you can sign up for to avoid this, they kept that quiet, I cannot stress enough you should all do this straight away to avoid this happening to you!

It probably depends on what you sell, if it’s a product I could imagine an order and payment scam.

Probably opening bank accounts, borrowing money/overdrafts and using supplier credit.
