    Eberhard & Co Scientigraf remake

Really like this recent reissue to mark the 60th Anniversary of the Scientigraf. At 41mm it could be a little smaller(38mm like the original would have been perfect) but would very much like to try one in person at some point(not likely in this country but maybe on a future holiday).

One of the better recent releases from Eberhard and at least not so overly large like the Scafograf.

Two lume colours and optional bracelet but the below is my preferred. I think it looks pretty fantastic.

    The original...

I like it but it's a bit on the rich side for me.

Why do so many reissues ruin it by bloating the size? It looks lovely but at 41mm it's a no from me because I have average wrists and anything 40+ without a bezel starts to look silly.

Oh well. What was the price?

2,250 Euros on a strap. Cheap alongside the current models of it's original competitors in the early sixties - the Milgauss, the Railmaster and the Ingenieur.

Yep, that's affordable (for most watch nerds) but the size is a killer. The bezel does look quite thick so maybe it won't look so bad?

I really like this. Mind you, I do love the brand.

Agree, although 42mm would have been a little better (dons flame proof vest) ..

I agree, slim bezel 'all dial' designs wear so much bigger than their sports equivalent with moving bezels. I have average 7 inch wrists and can (just about) get away with Linde Werdelin at 44mm (or 46mm depending on how you measure the case) but my 40mm MarkXVIII is about the limit for an all dial design.

I don't think we have any Eberhard & Co. retailers within the UK anymore, hence why I mentioned I hope to find one on holiday in the future.

On the Eberhard website store locator Chisolm Hunter in Glasgow are showing as an AD. But they are alone in the UK.

That's correct. They were the only available UK based authorised dealer for my Eberhard purchase.

I think iguana sell UK are an AD for this brand. Although they are in Spain their prices are inclusive of all VAT so might be worth a look.

Via the official website but they have very little stock. I did buy my Contograf from them.
