Do any of the hifi experts here have an opinion on the topping E30 DAC .I have audiolab 6000cdt transport and 6000a amp and I was wondering if the DAC would provide a worthwhile improvement to sound quality .

The DAC in the 6000A is very good as it uses the same chip set as their M DAC. Based on my listening tests I can't here the difference between the MF V- DAC 2 or Teac UD-301 playing through the 6000A
I keep mine set in the slow filter. My speakers are Falcon modded LS3/5A and KEF LS50.
To add, both the DACs I mentioned are excellent quality but can't comment on the Topping E30, but at the price it is I can't see it being better than Audiolab's.
