Omega Planet - New seals and pressure test - Recommendations?

Recently acquired this from Sales Corner:

    2008 Planet Ocean.

An absolute beauty of a watch.

I'm planning to take it snorkelling and want to get the waterproof seals replaced.

Unfortunately, the guy I usually use for this isn't available until the end of August.

    So...

...Can you recommend a trustworthy alternative for me?

    Much appreciated.

    Bye for now

    Marcus

There are numerous threads on trusted watch makers here, each of them will be able to help, one word of warning though. They are all very busy with similar wait times you your usual guy.
I don’t know of any decent watch maker that is not busy currently.
Have you tried STS? They are Omega accredited and are a larger organisation than most (still not big) they may have a shorter waiting time.

Alternatively have it pressure tested (nominal cost) - you may not need seals as modern ones don’t wear out like the old ones. . I believe main Omega boutiques or a decent watch shop will have the equipment.

One of my wife's Tag Heuers needed a new battery whilst we were in London on business some years ago. Took it into a Timpsons in Queensway who replaced the battery and did a pressure check on it. I asked them if they would check my Omega at the same time and they were more than willing and all was good. No charge was made.
