Assuming it’s a child arrangements order I should be able to help.
You’ve no chance of the court interpreting an order for you.

I wonder if anyone with suitable knowledge (solicitor / magistrate/ court legal) would be able to briefly look at a section of a court order that my family member recently obtained to offer clarity, the court is not responding after days of trying.
I will of course send it via PM and only the relevant anonymous section, just want it looked at before school holidays start.
Thanks.

I’m happy to have a read and comment too, assuming it’s a child arrangements final or interim order.
If it is indeed about a court order involving children then my wife could be prepared to advise upon the matter, she has many years experience on this subject and has helped other members here in the past.

Lovely so many have offered some assistance here to be honest, nice to know there’s some experience if any other unfortunate parents need it

OP, if there is any way you can share the output on this thread (keeping the contributors' identity to yourself) please do - I know of at least three members who may benefit.
You don't want any advice from a magistrate. They are not legally trained and as much use as asking your milkman.
Thank you to everyone who have reached out to offer advice, guidance and support. Still in the thick of it and it might take a while to resolve. I will update with how things turn out.

It's now all sorted.
It was all over a family members ex-partner. They were recently awarded (eight weeks ago) a child arrangements order (fairly standard one). It stated the 'usual' routine was suspended in school holidays and parents could have the children 50/50. It also stated arrangements to be made at least four weeks prior. The Ex left it to a week before school hols and demanded (non-negotiable - his words) random nights through the school holidays, it would have meant the children moving between homes 21 times, he didn't see a problem with this and actually thought it would be good for them! he works two jobs so we think he had arranged for them to stay with family.
Obviously we did not agree. He got very aggressive, the texts were pretty stunning. So... our offer of alternating block weeks did not go down well, lol. He went to his solicitor (an actual meeting) who must have told him not to be stupid, he was on thin ice with the notice and constant moving of the children and to not go back to court (as per his threats). We also contacted the solicitor independently with the court order and his messages, we pointed out the court order was quite clear.
The next day he agreed the block weeks on our terms. This person is incredible, "clever stupid" if you get me.
A big thank you to the TZ community who helped with support, assistance and guidance on the best way to resolve it. It also means all future school holidays can follow the same approach.

Thank you for summarising the issue.
We have many members on this forum who have remained stoic about such matters and if your post helps just one of them then it's worthwhile.
As someone who grew up from a very young age with separated parents, this situation is painful to read.
For me, having separated parents was mainly fine, as it was all I have ever known. It was the bickering, back-stabbing, and utterly pointless point-scoring which caused the damage to me. As a toddler, being used as a pawn in an adults game is such an awful place to be.
I really hope the OP's family situation stays on an even keel now.
