    The Open 2021

Anyone watching? I must say it’s great to see some crowds (and not the type yelling “get in the holeeeee” every 5 seconds).

Almost impossible to call, especially at RSGs, but I’m hoping it might be Paul Casey’s turn at last

One of my mates is marshalling on the 13th. I most admit to being rather envious of him (but not the jacket he has to wear).

With the fine weather I am expecting to John Ram to continue his form.

    The Open 2021

My parents live in Sandwich but aren’t golf fans. They offered to house swap for the duration but with their advancing years and covid I wasn’t comfortable uprooting them. Looks lovely mind

The Open is always on the Sunday before the Glasgow Holiday Monday so nothing better than parking your backside on the couch with a bunch of beers and watching the final round .
Course not t my favourite venue tbh but still better than St Andrew’s.

The Open is a pain as many of my cycle routes pass along golf road which is currently shut.

    Can’t end soon enough.

Massive infrastructure installed. Must cost millions to host.

Note that due to the delay the usual parking fields are now wheat so parking is way off via park and ride. Chaos predicted.

Good job it only comes to St George’s every 10 years or so otherwise it might really upset you.

On the positive I’ve got Louie as 1st round leader at 33/1 fella so hopefully that will cheer you up :-)

Had him at the US Open as 1st RL last month too at 45/1 then.

It was a tongue in cheek comment.

It’s not a big deal. Walked across the course last Friday just before they locked it all down.

    Huge set up.

    This.

I predict a very long and successful career for Colin.

Watched Colin on the range on Sat, he's truly unbelievable. Really enjoyable weekend at the Open, Jordan looked good this week, what could've been if not for the 3 jab on the 18th on Sat...
