Blimey, it's Dali's watch!
I’m sure a cape cod would work wonders on that
Not sure if that will polish out.
Nice patina
So, 33 bids and it currently stands at £200. Can anyone more knowledgeable tell me what parts in that are potentially worth £200 to someone? Everything external looks mangled beyond salvage. The bracelet links all look heavily scratched and dented. I'm guessing that is quartz? Is there enough air gap between case and movement to risk £200 on it being useable?
Don't get it!
"I do not know how it got to be like this"
Looks like it was left in the sun.
One hell of a desk dive.
The same seller’s Superocean doesn’t appear to be in much better condition … https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174826677...cAAOSwZ9tg4bO3
Where the f**k are these coming from?? Smashed lume all over the place, concrete in the bezel, scratched to death front and back.
Looks like the mid size (36mm) quartz model to me. The only bits that look ok are 2 of the 3 hands and the crown. Some of the bracelet links too maybe. £200 seems rich.
Death by steamroller, and sell the watch for parts. A novel business plan, I'll give you that ...
I like the comment on the Breitling - there is a scuff on the crystal
Who is bidding on these?! Currently 30 bids and at £672?! Can someone explain?
Wonder if they're being bought by people intending to make fraudulent insurance claims?
Even with a bogus insurance claim how on earth would you say what happened to it?
It's hazard a guess that it's been run over while laying on its side judging the marks and the twisting force.
