It’s strangely hypnotic to watch and while obviously complex due to the number of moving parts it doesn’t strike me as particularly technicality challenging.
Though this did come to mind

Beauty is 24 hr picking with a defined picking error and NO performance drop off or fatigue . There will be some human QC sample checking say every 150 bags for order fullfillment.

Perhaps I could have worded that better, what I meant was it seems to be combining a number of well proven existing technologies. There are numerous instances of automated robots on factory floors or ports, the grid and lack of humans to consider makes the control simpler I suspect and once you have a few working reliably scaling out is achievable fairly painlessly.Originally Posted by Lelykins

We shop there and always thought humans packed the bags as everything is bagged logically - fridge stuff in one bag, freezer stuff in another etc.
Great video, amazing would love to see it in real life.
I wonder if they do this for all deliveries across the country.
