I remember him, very sad. RIP
I'm sorry to say that forum member Plug has passed away.
I don't think he was the most prolific or well known poster but I noticed he hadn't visited tz for a few months and discovered that sadly he succumbed to prostate cancer at the age of 57.
We lived in the same town and did a couple of deals together; I found him to be a very kind and gentle man with a great sense of humour.
Rest in peace, Garry.
I remember him, very sad. RIP
v sad indeed, 57 seems no age.. rip Gary
RIP Gary,

Sorry to hear this. I was diagnosed at 49 and thankfully it was caught early. In paying my respects to people who have passed away from this illness, I'll always bang the drum for people to get checked out. If you're at that age or particularly if you have a history in your family then present yourselves.
Sad news indeed - RIP Garry.
When you look long into an abyss, the abyss looks long into you.........
Very sad. No age at all that.
Kind of makes you wonder how many people suddenly stop posting and we are not aware they have passed.
Prostrate cancer, deadly and too silent, I just got lucky. Random as that,,..
If offered a test, take it.
That’s sad to hear.
Rest in Peace.
So very sad indeed.
Cheers,
Ben

How extremely sad.
Of course I remember Garry (Plug) and 57 is shockingly young.
Thanks for informing us Thom.
I sometimes wonder if some of the posters who have stopped appearing over the years have passed away and nobody from here knows.
RIP Garry.
Cheers,
Neil.
Too bloody young and extremely sad!
RIP Plug.
I didn't know the gentleman but very very sad and as others have said, far too young. RIP.

Whilst i never met him, he always came across as a decent bloke.
It’s both sad and sobering considering he’s the same age as me.
RIP Garry

Very sad to hear
Did two deals with Garry over the years, and he was a true gentleman.
RIP Garry.
Always came across as a decent bloke.
As some one who could've gone early beginning of the year I will say that's far too young to go!
RIP gary.
I remember Plug and that is sad news. 57 is no age to go.
RIP.
RIP, sad news especially at such a young age.
RIP Plug
That’s no age at all. Condolences to his family and friends. I’m gutted for them.
A familiar name to many; gone way too young.
RIP.
I can only echo what everyone else has said. RIP Garry.

Very sad to see another member pass, with that think I need to book a check in the near future approaching 50..
Very sad to hear this and he was only 57. RIP Garry.
It's nice to see a lot of people remember Garry fondly, and I'm just sorry to have been the bearer of bad news.
There's a memorial website for him where you can add your thoughts or donate to his chosen cause if you wish:

I always like to think that another hobby has forced its way to the front of the line and watch forums take a back seat. Every so often I'll recall a member who hasn't posted for a good while, too many to count over ten years to be honest. I'm sure the vast majority simply move on rather than "move on".
I definitely remember Plug. Very sad loss at 57 years old.
Sorry to hear that news, RIP.
RIP my sincere condolences to his family and friends, I'm living with that condition, hopefully I have it under control?
Very sad news, RiP Gary.
My uncle was recently diagnosed, did a sponsored cycle ride in May to raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK. A truly awful disease
