    Favorite current watch in collection

I'm curious to know what everyone's favorite watch they currently own and in addition how much wrist time it is getting.
I love my blackbay 58 but paranoid about damaging the bezel.
My seamaster is my current favorite and is getting the most wrist time.
    Pics to follow.

Close call between this boring Rolex and my EZM1, the former just pipping it!

I rotate my watches in Friday's and can't be the only one.

Current favourite has to be the Alexander Shorokhoff.

I don’t always wear the current favourite on a Friday, so I’d say mine has been constant since it’s arrival - the Panerai 425. I’ve rarely worn any of my other watches since it arrived.
It's just a matter of time...

Right now, my basic steel sub date (like the one above but with a black bezel). Does everything I want from a watch.

For some strange reason I quite like that but I don't think I could wear it lol.

My weekend watch since I bought it here a month ago or so. Just love wearing it on weekends.

It's time keeping is spot on and is very comfortable on the haveston strap.

It would be this because it ticks all the boxes for me

    Dress watch
    Summer watch
    Casual watch
    COSC
    Geneva seal
    Vacheron
    Limited edition

Plus I doubt I'll ever see anyone with another one.

    Definitely my current favourite:

The size is perfect for me and it is a remarkably comfortable watch to wear. You don't see too many in the wild either.

Just my best, by any measure.
Appeals to both heart and head.
Absolutely non-ubiquitous (are there any others on this forum?).
Made by a lovely gang of people -- which counts for me!

It doesn't get the most wear, but it's my new favourite.

1980 Fat Nav seems to be my favourite at the moment. A full service and new CWC crystal by Olli of this parish make it look a stunner for a 41 year old watch. The Rios clip on leather strap makes the fatter case sit low on the wrist and is a pleasant change from the usual NATO.

This. Speedmasters, black bays, and multiple micros have come and gone. But this is ever present.

Don't think it's that strange, it's a great design but understand it's not for everyone.
To be fair it's on the big side for me so I tend to.onlynwear it with long sleeves and it's not as loud as you'd think like that.

I certainly don't wear my "favourite" watch every Friday, I wear something different over a range of Fridays! Current favourite is :

    FC8E255F-49C3-430F-BE4A-B2E433D9F48A

I'm still amazed that these are not more sought after than they are, certainly something that has to be seen to be appreciated and catches the eye without being obvious or attracting unwanted attention...

Much as I love all the watches in my collection, my overall favourite I think will always really be this one.

Damasko DC57 gets by far the most wear, it's got every feature I love, is bombproof robust, super-legible, and it's a shameless strapwhore...

    ...well, you get the picture...

I don’t really have a favourite as such, I tend to wear 3 (Air King, SeaWolf and BB S&G 41 all significantly different from each other ) most of the time. The Longines being a dress watch doesn’t get as much wear but will never flip as its a long service award.

This has to be my current favourite. Ive had numerous Speedys over the years including new, vintage and semi-vintage but just love this one.

Partly because I bought it new a couple of years ago (it’s the big box jobby) and set about getting the conversion done myself. I chose the racing dial as its rarely seen as most mods seem to be white or panda dials. That said another member has done the same so kudos to him, let’s just hope our paths don’t meet as I hate to wear the same as somebody else

    Cheers,

    Ben

Damn and there was me thinking about getting one of your robes

Do love that conversion, the Japan Racing was always one of my favourite Speedy variants, very cool.

It's this one picked up off SC 6 weeks ago, this is a complete change of pace for me, away from my usual classically styled dive watch. I've tried wearing my other watches but I always swap back to this one after a few hours.

I'd echo what others are saying about the Friday thread not necessarily reflecting the current favourite. I've spent lockdown honing my small collection to eight watches, all of which I now love. The favourite which probably, coincidentally gets the most wrist time is the Damasko DC86 which I happen to be wearing today after an absence of a couple of weeks.

It’s got to be my 556a as it covers all of the bases for me.

  40. #40
Whilst this one wouldn’t quite make the cut if I only kept 3 or 4 watches it is the one that I have recently enjoyed wearing the most. Had it 6 years, just as well I didn’t move it on when I wasn’t wearing it much.

Struggling to find the connection between the Friday thread and the topic of currently most worn or favourite.
