    Yema GMT

Anyone else had the email for the Yema GMT presale?

Got to say the green dial looks great in the photography. 39mm bit too small for me but they look good, decent heritage and an in house movement to boot.

I also think their whole lineup is good, might be tempted by an airforce in the future.

I got an email about these today too.

I’ve often thought the superman line looks good but at that price point, I’m not sure how I feel about in-house movements, unless it’s an ETA clone by another name.

I havent had the GMT but tried two superman a year or so back, one had the inhouse movement which ran fine and they arent particularly sophisticated and my guess is will be reliable. The problem I had even with the discount is that they didnt feel that well made, a Seiko for less money feels a lot more solid and well produced and any of Eddies would leave them for dead. Shame really as I like the made in France aspect and styling but both got sold on quite quickly.
