Well, technically you could be diving under the North Pole.

So it's a yes from me - but I have a shopping list of other TF stuff to get through first.

Not for me personally, but that is because I am wiating on a yellow (maybe orange - can't decide) Caribbean, a DLC Mission Timer and quite possibly an HS9 remake too - and that's enough for me.
But I would change the seconds hand to black, and maybe have a heavier black outline to the indices for more contrast......

'Baby' size or full fat? If the latter then I'm in, a black seconds hand would be my preference but not a deal-breaker.

As there's no GMT hand, I'm guessing it's a 'Baby'.

Hmm, well I'm going to have a look at an existing 'Baby' first to see if the size is ok for me.

Perhaps instead of white, a full lume dial would be pretty darn good, I always thought the white dial watch had a limited audience.
    Cheers

Having not purchased a watch before prior to seeing it and trying it on first I wouldn't actually say I had my doubts but you obviously wonder on the watch and how it will look when on. On receiving it and after getting over how nice it was I initially thought that it wore a little small but I soon forgot about that and love its looks and practicality. I think that your wrist is larger than mine which I would say is just under 7 inches. Pity I've only just seen this as I am working in Chard so could have brought it today and popped in on the way home but we can obviously arrange a meet some time over the next few weeks.

There are few diving sports watches with white dials ,so this is a very refreshing change and would have lots of buyers i am sure. To my old eyes though the dial design seems a little compressed\cramped? To my eyes the lume markers/plots would look better set in the minute track, like on a Ploprof.

I've started eyeing the baby DN, and this looks good to me. Had a chance to handle a full size DN a few years ago and liked it, but it was a bit too big/heavy for me then (and I've probably shifted taste more towards smaller watches since then).

I think this would be a good call.

Anybody up for a Polar EVEREST ?

    Hell YES ... :-)

I like (and own) the cream dial version but a Polar dial would be off the charts !

Has anyone ever created a dial that can be both white and black depending on environment? Perhaps like blinds on a window or like the shutter on a camera. Open white, closed black. Sorry silly suggestion but that’s how ideas come about...

I like it Eddie, but would like ‘Polar’ above the date in ice breaker red and perhaps white Lume and perhaps same red instead of orange for hand outline

Or perhaps battleship grey blue for the next dreadnought as a close match to the metal used for construction?

If its full size its looks great, but I have got to agree about the seconds hand. White on white is a tough one to read. White dials need high contrast hands to make them readable at a glance.

If it’s the baby then count me in. I only have teeny wrists see.
I’d prefer a black seconds hand too if it’s possible.

Red instead of orange may actually look very good.

Have now had a chance to have a play Cornish Bob's Baby Dreadnought and I'm now happy that the size is fine enough for my taste.

FWIW, here's a comparison to the Voyager:

How about the Voyager in the dial-colours of the white dial Explorer 2?

Absolutely but I agree with others that it would have to be full size. I think it will be stunning

    Hello,
I’d be all-in on a white dial 42-44mm case DN!

Lightbulb Maybe try a version without the minutes track?

I've got the BD and love it, but maybe a polar can drop the (inner) minutes track and use a smaller, fixed bezel for minutes? It would open up the dial, and polars are not (AFAIK) known for rotating bezels (indeed, they are known for either 24-hour dials or a second hour hand)

    Something to think about.

I'd fancy one of these if the Dreadnought logo was a darker colour font along with the seconds hand. The dial looks a little washed out otherwise.
