Does this involve getting the watch close to the mobile phone and risking magnetisation though?
Sorry if this already been posted but I find this very handy and it works like a dream with no adds or other annoying stuff.
Just write Watch Accuracy Meter on Google App Store and pick the one that looks like the on in the picture attached
So sad it doesn't work with Spring Drive but works like a dream with any other mechanical watch.
Hope you'll enjoy as much as I did
I double checked the results with my watchmaker and it's spot on.
Just follow the quick guide and keep very quiet while doing the measurements

It's a fascinating app, I've checked all my watches by laying them on the microphone. None has ended up magnetised.
Tried it and not impressed, timing results all over the place.Maybe it depends on the phone.

A tip is to use an external microphone. Even one from a headset will be better than the internal phone one as it is easier to place the watch on it or next to it.
You can buy specialist microphones but then you might as well get the real thing.
Maybe your watch needs servicing? It works very well for me, the only watches which show 'results all over the place' are old Smiths pocket watches and a Vostok Amphibia that haven't been serviced in aeons. And as for the magnetism worry, I don't understand the issue - I've just moved a compass around and near my phone and the needle hardly twitched.
I've used it with good success.
Results have been reliable & repeatable as long as the watches are right next to the phone mic and not on a surface that would reflect the watch beat.
Is this available for iPhones? I can’t find the app in the Apple App Store.

I tried it yesterday and I was impressed. It picked up the beat rate and seemed pretty accurate.
