News on Lady Diver for EmmaK

I received an offer today, together with a visualisation of my specification.

It looks like it was done on Etch-A-Sketch by Stevie Wonder. :(

Sounds like it was done by our graphics dept. I swear they are actually chimps using broken crayons.

Oh go on put it up for us to see. It might spark a debate and give it a new/better direction.

Either that or it will kill it stone dead in the water (pardon the pun)

You must post the visualization (although your description of it made for a good chuckle).

I'm shocked that anyone would send that thinking it represents something that you'd want to invest in. I think Stevie would have done a better job ..

That concept drawing may be worth money in years to come

I think that you should date it to stop Jacques from claiming he came up with the design

Wow that is a 'rough' drawing. to be honest can't really visualise it yet.

It does have potential tho, but as ever the devil would be in detail. Perhaps the technical drawing would help(maybe not if its of the same 'artistic quality!)

How anyone would expect a go/no go decision based on that drawing tho makes the mind boggle.

See what you mean about the etch-a-sketch Eddie, but it does give the general idea - that and the image you posted ages ago :)
Looks very cool. Very nice indeed.

That blue/white/blue concentric effect is going to be quite striking, especially with the colours reversed on the hands. Suspect it'll be one that people will either love or hate; I'm currently in the former category, especially with that convex transparent bezel.

Do people get paid to produce napkin sketches like this? If so, I need to seriously consider a career change.

    Eddie,

Do you need a watch designer/visualizer? Here are some visuals I made starting from the Marine Master:

Very nice but despite the fag-packet drawing, I have a pretty clear idea how it will look. The brief was to produce a Lady Dreadnought.

Will it continue to have the name "Lady Diver"? Despite my best efforts to strike the thought from my head, I can't help but think of 'lady garden' and other associations unsuitable for what will undoubtedly be a fine watch. I realise that asking closed questions is mostly futile, but could it be referred to as the 'Lady's Diver'?

Quick and dirty photoshop skills I'm afraid (i.e. crap), but its helped me visualise it even if I'm alone in this...

But yeah, you are right, its a bit rubbish!

I'm confident it will combine toughness and elegance Emma, the sort of thing Lara Croft would wear.
