Difficult to justify buying from Amazon ever again after seeing the ITV news report on their Dunfermline depot. Materialism at its worst.
Nice Braun. Has a touch of Junghans about it.
Hey folks, as the title suggests, there are lots of different quartz analogue watches on Amazon right now (Prime Day) for less than half price. Not everyone's cup of tea, but might be a handy pick up and go watch for somebody.
For example:

Wow - just found the clip - makes me even more determined to avoid Amazon where-ever I can. Here's the link:

Be interesting to know the actual story, I imagine it's some nutty tax law or something. I highly doubt Amazon is deliberately binning smart TVs and laptops in an effort to reduce their own profits?
My guess is the majority of this stuff is from overseas suppliers and effectively abandoned (i.e. the company no longer wants to pay the storage fees or goes bust etc). Unclear why more of it can't be donated though rather than destroyed.
I ordered a watch from Amazon not too long ago. When I opened parcel, the watch box was there, but no watch inside. Amazon did refund promptly when I complained.
Still, I wouldn't order a watch anymore, if sold by Amazon directly.

I saw that news article yesterday shocking how much they throw away, they should just all the unwanted wat he's to forum members and then give the rest to people that really need it save binning it all.
Nice watch though for £63
