    That's the maid's room.

Edit: did you look at the Street View? Lots of armed Police. Well it is next door to the Egyptian Embassy, so not surprising. I wonder if there's a covenant allowing MI5 access to the party wall?

Why youngsters (predominantly boys) insist on having their hoody hoods up when driving. Thereís heaters in the car so itís not cold and all the hood up does is limit their field of vision.

I donít put the heating on in my car when driving to park some distance away from the train station as it feels twice as cold when I have to walk if the car is warm.

I wear a woolly hat and thought I would put up my jacket hood for extra warmth. It really affected the field of vision. No idea how people drive like this.

The other issue is driving with seat pushed back and almost horizontal.

The ones that make me laugh more are the 'seat as low as it will go' drivers, cos it makes it feel like you're going faster, they look like little grannies hardly able to see over the top of the steering wheel

Coz they is the youth, mate!

It's not just the reclined position that I'll never understand, it's the single outstretched arm with a hand at the top of the steering wheel whilst seeming leaning towards the passenger side along with it I can't get my middle aged grumpy old (ish, compared to the yoof) man head around.

That's my son every time he borrows my car. Takes me a minute to ratchet it back up into a position where I'm looking over the steering wheel rather than through it

Simples, you have it on a low setting for hardwood floors, because itís easier. You use medium settings on rugs dependant on size, because otherwise they start to lift up and finally you use a higher setting for fitted carpets which are nailed down.

You use maximum setting for ďshagĒ carpets.

in fairness I have the seat as low as possible simply because I once had an accident which saw me headbutt the roof. Plus I find it easier to get in and out.

Greggs branded products sold in Primark.

Was at Meadowhall yesterday and pooped into Primark to get some cheap hairclips for toddler that keeps losing them at Nursery. Saw the abomination that is the Greggs section. People going crazy for Greggs jumpers, Greggs Crocs, Greggs socks etc. Loads of people in the queue had Greggs stuff in their basket.

Why would you PAY to wear a massive advert for a baker? Fair enough if it's some freebie giveaway, or you got it with loyalty points from buying 300 sausage rolls.

You need to use a min setting when vacuuming an oriental rug. I often use an old fashioned Bissell carpet sweeper like your Grandmother did. So yes the settings are important.

    £60 Toblerone - 4.5KG

Do you buy one for a household? Who's eating a 4.5kg chocolate bar?!

I would 100% refuse to share that and consume it easily in a week.

I accidentally bought two 750g bars last week Ďas giftsí.

Iím 100% eating both over the gorging season.

Also got two of the same for Christmas presents and I'm now tempted to eat them over Christmas instead. Not sure who I'm going to give the massive tin of Kirkland shortbread to.

    Yep, Costco OOK

That's a poor price on the Toblerone, both as I thought Costco and larger would be cheaper (per kg) - Asda is under £1 per 100g on the standard small size. I'm assuming white (the best of them all) was sold out! [I agree though that a single monster bar looks more impressive than 13 smaller ones when giving as a gift.]

Never understand why folks wear hats whilst in the gym unless itís bloody cold........most gyms arenít cold!

Why do you need to wear a baseball cap or a wooly hat when exercising indoors?

A common misconception. I quickly got into the habit of comparing Costco prices with online shops. Costco's great for things you can't get anywhere else, but you have to be a little cautious with widely available name brand products.

    Things you'll never understand

Costco warehouse offers can be good value but in general Costco is not a cheap store although it can be for certain items.

Only place I would buy TVs from though. Five year warranty and refund at the till if it goes wrong. Can't beat that regardless of price

Iím reminded of Jeremy Clarkson and every episode of Top Gear where his criteria would just be POWER.

Nope, I will leave it to SWMBO to give practical illustrations of the various modes of operation and dutifully fail the end of demonstration exam. If she gets wise to my strategy I will vac up some valuables so that I canít be trusted.

Going to a friend's house in a bit. My wife asked if there's anything we can bring and was told yes, could you please bring some "structurally sound unsliced bread".

Turns out they meant sourdour. What is wrong with people?

But, they are your friends Wileey, so should come as no surprise.
Never heard of structurally sound bread before, sounds like some kind of remedial engineering work!
