Timepiece Gentleman is worth a watch if you like Roman’s videos.
I have been watching lots of YouTube videos recently and particularly enjoy Roman sharf for the business side of things and ticktocking for reviews of the independent watch scene .
Has anybody got more recommendations for interesting YouTube watch channels as there is so many boring ones out

archieluxury for a laugh
he does a caricature of a snobbish obnoxious luxury watch collector
or is that just him, im not sure
Archie was without a doubt the best in the past when he just made fun of the pretentious nonsense that goes on with watch collecting. His best was the "What does your watch say about you" Which was pretty much on the money. From what I see the Tag Heuer one has been taken down which is a shame as it was probably his best one. Now his videos are just plain weird and a bit creepy.
To be honest most of these youtube reviewers I cant stand, 5 to 10 minutes of mostly stock photos of the watch, history of the watch company (Like I care) a few shots of the actual watch (If indeed the reviewer even has it) and a whole lot of stating the blooming obvious!
Best youtube videos for watches are usually done buy some bloke who has actually purchased a watch and wants to show it on youtube. Plenty of the actual watch and you can actually see how it wears, box, papers everything you really need to know to make a decision to buy.
I used to like watch box reviews but wont watch them now after reading the other thread about them buying up stock. The watchfinder ones were good for close up shots of watches but they guys voice just really starts to grate on you. Its like an 80s commercial for chocolates at Christmas.
I like Watchbox Reviews as he covers a lot of watches and is quite a fan of FP Journe if you like some hardcore Watch Porn

I did a bunch of dumb videos last summer in the height of lockdown. Hope you like Seikos and cats.

I wasn't a fan of the timepiece gentleman too much supercilious nonsense ,working out in gym eating in pretentious restaurants etc . I think Marco knows his stuff particularly in vintage Rolex, Anthony comes across as a bit of a dick

I watch Adrian from Bark & Jack every week, usually releases something on a Sunday. For me, he’s the most relatable of those I’ve watched and a lot of his content is Omega and Rolex related which I’m probably most interested in. Believe his straps and leather products are also quality but I’ve no personal experience with those. Will be taking a look at Timepiece Gentleman.
Good production is expensive and time consuming. What looks ‘natural’ is often the result of a lot of skilled work.

I also very much love Nick Shabazz, mainly because he's quite clearly autistic, but he posts more videos about knives these days.
Beans & Bezels is pretty good, generally covering smaller brands though he is covering some of the more mainstream stuff as well. Good macro content and generally high production values
federico talks is decent and bark & jack

Ah it's my job. I'm being flippant though - I obvs don't know if he's actually autistic, just something in his vocal tone, the very detailed, pedantic quality to his speech & the repetition of certain phrases. Plus I really like him - that's my acid test. I'd bet a lot of money he's not a million miles.
I found 'Up Tick Watch Reviews' recently. Nice guy who seems to know his watches.
Tim Mosso of the WatchBox is my favourite. Immensely knowledgeable.

One of the most professional on YouTube, show cases new releases and has interviews with the CEOs and marketing directors of many top brands.
He clearly has a commercial focus, doesn't present used watches and the brands are Longines and upwards so nothing at the bottom end.
He avoids the brand bashing negativity that typifies much of YouTube and appears well connected and trusted to present various brand's watches in a positive light. If you want to see a new release, he's often got some hands on footage quite early on.

Started my YouTube channel about a month back, I try and keep it more on the entertaining side as there are a lot of boring channels out there so wanted to be a little different.
I have 4 videos up so far and post them weekly on Wednesdays.

Cool. I didn't know he had his own channel. I've seen him on WATCHES TV.

I tend to watch repair content more than people just talking about them, it is certainly a lot less ranty.
A couple I like are The Nekkid Watchmaker and Richard Perrett. I liked The Watch Repair Channel too but there has not been any new content for around 10 months.

I was labelled a bad lad at school and disruptive and bad in secondary school. I have bundled through work. When my youngest was diagnosed, high functioning with pathological demand avoidance syndrome. I was sticking up for her. Dr Susanne Freese took me out of the room and asked me to do a couple of on line tests. I was then also diagnosed with High Functioning Spectrum Autism.
A relief really for me.

I struggle with watch channels these days, they all seem to be more about the person than the watches and maybe I'm getting old and grumpy but I especially can't deal with all the little meme bits that almost everyone seems to add.
I tend to search for specific watches I'm interested in and just hope a non professional has put you a video showing the watch and sharing their thoughts on it. Once people start regular uploading their egos tend to take over imo.
Found some new ones from this post, but in addition I've enjoyed watching:

I like the Watchbox and Watchfinder videos because of the quality of the video/production and the breadth of watches covered, I just put to one side that it's an advert unless I'm interested in the particular watch being shown.
That's exactly my take on watch videos. Mine are typically <5 mins and focus on the features of the watch - you never see me in a video! I don't do regular content either, I just do a video when I get a new watch. Here's a couple of examples from opposite ends of the spectrums of both price and poplarity.
I dip in and out of archie. I try to convince myself its funny but it not even that.
Recently discovered The Timeless Watch Channel, more of a lifestyle, cafe/booze in Italy, Rolex/Omega channel. I like some his older stuff but more recent videos are not as good.
Long Island Watch channel is very informative.
Recently watched a few videos from watchtrader&co and Trotters. Quite informative from the business angle.
