The watch that started this silly obsession.
After a significant event in business I promised myself a new watch (I was casually interested, and had three: Rolex, Cartier, AP) -- and, on internet research had chosen a Lange 1. Unfortunately (and many might think, stupidly) when I went to buy it I also saw this -- and preferred it. I thought it more harmonious overall, and (odd that it should be important) liked the GO date implementation with coplanar figures much better. So, I bought it instead.
This left me with a tidy sum in my pocket, which it (illogically) seemed logical to spend on watches . . . . . . .

Thank you. I wanted it since it came out. It’s even better than I expected.

There’s a very tiny gap between the case and the bezel though and I’m hoping to get it sorted by Longines promptly.

One of my first "quality" watches today. Bought new in the 1980's, I think. Still love it and wear it regularly in rotation.

Still favouring vintage. This time a 'tool' watch....
