Thought to share this with you fellows.
E. C. Andersson announced via a newsletter on March 31 that their Calypso (an otherwise good looking watch) is 'available immediately' in a matte version, for 870 EUR.
I bought one, then waited for several weeks. Then they sent another newsletter that well, it's actually not available yet, it's still going to take some time. I wrote them on April 19 that I'd like to cancel the deal... no reply. No reply to my messages on April 22 and April 28 either.
Anyway, in the mean time I have had other priorities, but today I took it up with PayPal, as I still haven't received the money, the watch, or just some basic reply.
Long story short - a business case on complete lack of interest in clients and own reputation.
Cheers,
Christian

Deserving of the sh**-list.
Someone who lies about the little things will lie about the big things too.
That really is appalling behaviour. Certainly sounds like a brand to avoid.

Haven't heard of them before, but will stay clear now.
So, has PayPal sorted out and provided a refund yet?

Having its head office in Gothenburg, E.C.Andersson Watch Co. is based in the centre of Scandinavia, surrounded by the natural beauty of the northern climate. The salty ocean winds constantly reminding us of the relentless Northern Sea, pushing its waves up Sweden’s rocky shores, and the breathing pine forests, howling of natural wildlife.
Maybe if they spent more time on customer service and less time out at sea and in the pine forest they might have a more successful business!
To wrap this up - PP has swiftly and effectively dealt with it, and now I have my money back. But as to the Andersson people - why would they do something so absurd as a micro brand, when they know that their reputation is their biggest asset? Doesn't make any sense... Anyway, good riddance.
Pleased you got your money back and certainly a company to be avoided.
