    Two Tone Watches

I'm looking for a few recommendations for two tone watches and thought I may be able to get a few suggestions I haven't thought of.
Basic criteria would be two-tone bracelet, 36-41mm case size and probably no more than 13mm height.
The budget would be a max of £1000 so i accept the gold may well be plated. Could be 2nd hand but must be modern rather than vintage.

So far I've liked the look of

Seiko 5 Sports SRPE60 - maybe not special enough

Zodiac Super Sea Wolf Automatic - Just sneaks into budget new

Oris 65 -love the look new but not sure how the bronze will age.

I was going to suggest an Omega Polaris if you're looking for something two tone and special.
But you said "modern" & I lost interest. Sorry.

Funnily enough I was about to recommend the same...

The reason behind the modern is its a present and I don't think they would appreciate a vintage piece. The only exception maybe a birth year watch (1985) otherwise I think they would just wonder why I bought them an old watch.

Ok how about a two tone 1985 Tag Heuer diver the slimmer case for a smaller wrist or the Monin cased version for something a little chunkier.

It wasn't meant to be a criticism. Different people like different stuff. My interest in (mainly) in vintage watches. 60's and 70's. I've no issue with anyone who, say, will only wear brand new watches.
Of course, they are completely wrong in their outlook & are missing out on the really cool stuff, but they are perfectly entitled to make their own mistakes!
    :)

I think the Polaris was a bit earlier than '85. It's also a bit too marmite for a gift.

    Two Tone watches?

Well it might be considered Bad Manners, but I think it's Madness.

For me they're nothing Specials, although some will say you can't Beat them.

I guess you can be the Selecter of the one you like.

    That’s killed the thread.

Turned it into a bit of a Ghost Town.

Yes but not many people share snowman's views, probably no more than 1 in 10.
