    Old Film and TV Props

Found a wbesite that sells old film and TV props. Okay, I was bored last night but found it quite interesting. Thought I would pass it on.

Amazing prices and I've no idea how they authenticate the items. I particularly liked the Hurricane but not at that price:

I love looking at that stuff, wish I had space for a nice movie prop display.
A couple of years ago I found a site selling off a ton of old red dwarf props which really turned my head, but when 710 says no....

    His wife.

It's an old and rather mysogynistic joke.
    Cheers,

Haha. I'm glad to hear that. My google search came up with something entirely different:

The origin is the same, from a woman driver who couldn’t find where to put the oil because the only cap that had anything written on it was 710

I'm not sure misogynistic fits, but I'll accept it. This was always the term for wives on here when I joined, very tongue in cheek and recently replaced by SWMBO (She who must be obeyed).

I'm clearly not "woke" enough for this forum. Apologies that my thread caused the PC brigade to label me a misogynist. Strange feeling that, especially on here.

Some quite bizarre items. I wonder who will buy this:

I wouldn't want it in my house, let alone have it on display!

If you're intimately familiar with Seiko quartz chronographs, it's the green plastic insulator / spacer used in 7Axx movements ....

    It's Seiko p/n 4408.710, but all that's molded on it is 710.

For that price it could at least be a proper beaver felt rather than cheap(er) rabbit

Think it would be money better spent on a decent Akubra.
