You're my favourite photographer on here by a country mile, and I actually find your work quite aspirational. These are your usual exemplary quality - all brilliant but I love the editorial look of the first shot.
Took a while but here is one more 'Eye Candy' thread.
This watch is been with me for quite some time and I remember looking at it 15 years ago as my Grail piece. It represents all good IWC has to offer, great understated and classic looks, a nod to their vintage design and very much proven and tough inhouse automatic movement.
Vintage Aquatimer ref. 3231 was a part of their vintage collection with Da-Vinci, Ingenieur, Pilot and Portugieser and was only made for short period of time. At 44mm is not really suitable for all types of wrists but it really has great wrist presence due to it's huge dial and internal unidirectional bezel (operated with crown on 4h position). Anyway, enough of the intro, as on my all 'Eye Candy' threats, let the photos do the talking. Thank you for looking, cheers
Outstanding work, truly exceptional. Bravo!
Lovely photos of a beautiful watch
Really nice work. I love the '70s glossy ad feel of the first pic, or at least that's the way it comes across to me.
Cracking images, very imaginative and well captured.
Stunning

A good watch is important, a good photographer even more so……
Lovely photos of a lovely watch!
Absolutely superb photo(s)...and the watch is pretty nice too
Fabulous
Some of the best watch photography I have seen.
If I tried the first shot, I imagine it would involve lots of swearing, the Campari finishing, spills on the table and the time moving on from 10:10.
I think there should be a take a shot like Nono thread. Any attempt I made would be a disaster piece and a complete no no.
Fantastic pictures, highlighting a quite superb watch from IWC.
Wow, the response on this thread... thank you guys, I really appreciate all your comments
Thank you Tony, this is quite the compliment coming from a pro like you.
Thanx, jup I had fun doing that one. It's my favourite drink as well, and I did had another plan for how it will look, but I'm gonna save it for another shot.
Haha, It was a lot of swearing and cleaning believe me. And to tell you the truth, I knew that cleaning after every shot would be a must, and I didn't want to spill the real Campari. So I got the same (color) thing, watered down cheery juice
Stunning, compositions and creative thinking. Nice watch as well.
Steve
It's been a while since I posted some new shots of this watch, but unfortunately, I don't wear it as much these days.
So here's a few more recent ones

Those are fantastic and clear photos.
Love the various back drops.
Lovely pictures. What dimensions does it have?
This vintage aquatimer is genuinely one of the ‘should never have let it go’ watches for me. I bought mine in 2008 and the big 44mm dial is just superb to look at, one of the most legible watches I’ve owned. Being a proper WIS I sold the AQT to fund another but it’s alway felt like the one that got away !!
Amazing Pics!
Thanx man!
Thank you. It's 44mm in diameter, 14mm thickness and 22mm lugs
I agree, but for some reason it doesn't get nearly enough wrist time. Last year I think I had it on my wrist 10 times at best. I don't know why is that, it's such great piece and preety rare these days. But since I don't wear it that much, I might just pass it along at some point this year and get another IWC.
Thank you man. Love the nickname, 3719 in the movie if I'm not mistaken ;)
superb watch and photos!
It’s going to be a tough year buying watches with so much belt tightening going on but I certainly like to have the chance of owing one again so drop me a line
Great photos and a great thread.
Great photos. I wish they made more of these and brought back the old style Ingenieur.
