Was having a look at other Seiko and saw the Grey Dawn

    What’s people’s impressions?

Just googled it and I must say I really like the look of it. The Samurai has always been a good looking thing, and the grey/orange colour scheme looks terrific.

Btw I think it’s actually called the Dawn Grey .

I had a grey dawn Samurai from new. Cracker of a watch, IMO these and the turtles punch way above their price.

Dial was really nice, and the orange highlights work great.

I couldn't quite get on with the case size and the fact the hour hand was so bloody short for a big watch.

I sold it last year for about what I paid for it, so I cant complain!

I have the dawn grey Turtle, bought here on sc. It's a watch I wont wear for a couple of months, then when I do bring it out I fall in love with it all over again. A definite keeper as I know I would sooner or later miss it and would likely never be able to replace it for sensible money if I did flip it.

I have the turtle. The dial is spectacular in the sunshine. Super comfortable on the wrist too.

I have the Turtle version. I find the orange details pop more on the bracelet or a grey rubber. I wear mine on a Watchgecko ‘Tropic’.

A great watch, and once I take it out of the box brings a smile to my face. As someone points out above, it’s one that can’t be replaced for a sensible price so is going nowhere.

I like the look of that tropic. Mine is currently on a grey Borealis.

That Watchgecko grey tropic has got me looking at their website. That looks like a great addition to the bracelet.
