    Baby Dreadnought

As I said elsewhere I really didn't like the Dreadnought range at all but some how I began to appreciate them and this one suited my smaller wrist. So last week I decided to go for it and other than a hick up with Chrome all went smoothly with the watch turning up on Tuesday morning. Well there are some nice photos of them around but they really don't do it justice, I'm impressed with the design and quality, the bracelet is there to stay and was easy to size, this will be one that gets used most when out of work.
    Thanks Eddie.

How do you find the weight ? There's no way I could wear my earlier Voyager GMT version on it's bracelet, such heft! It came straight off and is still stickered up in the case! Love the head only on a strap though.

I haven't really noticed the weight unless I actually stop and think about it. I really like the bracelet, it's fit at the lugs and the fine adjustment that it allows so at the moment I don't intend to change it for a strap.

It's all relative though, compared to the original DN the Voyager feels lightweight.

That's a fine pair Ralph, but could you post a picture of the watches for comparison please?

I was exactly the same and the reason I sold the Voyager, loved the watch but far too heavy on the bracelet for me. The baby on its bracelet is a perfect weight for an everyday watch and I really enjoy wearing it

I've always admired the DN range but knew I wouldn't be able to carry-off the proportions. This is the Baby DN on my 6.75" wrist. It initially felt small but within half an hour felt perfect. It's absolutely ridiculous value for money.

24 hours in and it's lost 1 second so it's keeping much better time than my brand new SBIII. I even got a "lovely watch!" comment from Mrs TTC this morning.

Great pic Bob! I've worn mine every day since it arrived and it's just absolutely brilliant. I'm so pleased I went for the baby version. Even on the bracelet you hardly know you're wearing it and the bracelet itself is super-comfy. The bezel action is in-keeping with the watch; sharp, crisp and solid. Anyone reading this still on the fence about a purchase needs to get one.

The watch was not quite in focus unfortunately which I didn't notice at the time but as I was standing in the road with my dog I didn't hang around.
Unfortunately I'd rather not wear mine at work so it's evenings and weekends at the moment, got the obligatory Casio for the day job.

I just picked one up, and I think TTC summed it up perfectly above.
The engineering of the whole package is superb, and at the price point nigh on insane value.

Over the moon with this beauty.

Forgive the old, slightly too wide strap...

No need to ask for forgiveness. Any old, dirty and ill-fitting strap "on a good watch" is the sign of true WISdom.

If you buy a bad ass 'tool watch' should you wear it as a bad ass tool watch?

I have numerous watches from the esteemed owner of this site, but never have I owned such a solidly built watch with such wearable proportions as this baby dread.

The usual issue, they are too nice to wear, and the Mrs is always saying wear something else, don't wreck it.

I'd love to just wear the flaming thing, should I wear this or just a cheap much more accurate Casio?

I have seen posts on this sun forum of guys wearing the 82 as a watch, and I envy them.

Maybe it's time I joined their gang

Strap just perfect for the vibe of the watch, just inspired me and thinking of getting one. Could you let me know what is the size of your wrist as I would like to compare, mine is 7.25".

I really enjoyed the Baby Dreadnought on a recent snorkeling swim.

The PRS-52 definitely gets the most wrist time from all the watches in my collection.

With the pinholes it's easy, just apply slight pressure to each side of the end link as you press in.
The thing which amazed me was the fit of the end link, absolute precision.
It will slide out easily when spring bar released both sides.

This watch is mental, after a month of ownership and letting the movement bed in with wear, I set it to time.is 4 days ago and it is +4 seconds now.
+1 second a day for any watch is superb in my book.
Add that to the the just right dimensions and proportions, and the ultra visible minute hand and bezel, this is just about the perfect tool watch for me

So much so, I think I'm no longer a daily watch swapper. The BD hasn't left my wrist since it arrived, and I'm sure it won't anytime soon.

Mine was one of the first issued and until a few days ago I hadn't done much more than swap the bracelet and look at it, but last week I thought 'lets give it a go' and it's bloody awesome, as cool as a cool thing can possibly be.

My bd has been my daily wearer for must be near to 2 months now.
Unfortunately, normal wear and tear withstanding has led to gains and losses

Let's keep it in real money, must be 7 weeks now and +3 secs to time.is

    Not too shabby at all

Just came to a very interesting realisation,

Sat on the dunny, spectacles off and wine glasses on, I could still see sort of clearly that the time was roughly 6 minutes to 5.

Even saw the second hand going around

Had mine a couple of months now and it gets a lot of wear in water and on land. As someone said below, it's kind of the perfect every day do anything watch.

What a manic Sunday it's turning out to be, have tickets to see Nile Rodgers in Cardiff bay, also managed to bag a couple of free NHS tickets to the manic Street Preachers

Also been reliably informed there's a drag queen festival in Cardiff tonight as well.

Good trifecta if it comes off
