Can't say I like that, the footprints look like an infant school kids drawings. Loved the great white STO, I have the turtle, and the manta ray dials look very cool too, but not this.
I think this is a major innovation from Seiko, effortlessly surpassing lesser-brands only able to offer a new dial colour or bezel. To present footprints is I believe a true first. We've had ferns. We've had cartoon dogs. But footprints? What genius is at play here?
Indeed, playful they may seem at first glance, but are those prints not reminiscent of dinosaur tracks? Perhaps made by a waddle of Icadyptes, ancestors of the modern penguin? From which we immediately note the etymological root... diver.
