    Family Reunion - Watch Related

Well what seemed like an eternity!
My immediate family, including all the Grandchildren and the newest addition to the family, our beautiful 6 month old Granddaughter met up for the first time since March 2020.

But this also provided my 3 daughters and myself to hold another reunion
Which included a couple of amendments since the thread, I created approximately three years ago.

The sharp eyed amongst you may notice a couple of common themes

The one that I am wearing (with the hairy arm) will go to my youngest daughter to replace her 36mm OP.
And a distant relative, which will go to one of my Grandsons.

Congratulations on your granddaughter Tony, that’s lovely news.

I remember you telling me about watches for your daughters and I’m fairly sure some of the initial ones were different. That current line up is just perfect :-)

Such a nice idea. They look great in the sunshine! I am glad you got to spend precious time with the family.

    Thanks to you both :-)

I have just looked the old thread from 2018 with a view to include it, but all the photos have disappeared, so didn't believe there was any point.

    Just an update :-)

After giving the matter some considerable thought - 5 minutes

I decided why wait and so today gave my youngest daughter the DJ (126234).

Naturally she was over the moon, as was I.

So, lookout very soon for a FS post on a 116000 once I have taken some photos.

PS Would appreciate if any member could give me an idea on pricing, as Chrono24 has a wide range of prices?
Full set bought worn and 5 yrs old.
    Thank you

Just updating my thread from last year.

Enjoyed a family get together, first since before the Pandemic. As it also involved my brother and his family.

What a glorious after it was.

Since my OP, there have been some changes :-)

As you see, there is a common theme :-)

Great to be able to share your interest with your kids.

Can’t help but think the one who had the Explorer was stitched up though …

Absolutely, they can make the most of them.

Though I am not sure we’re you saw the Explorer?
My daughter did have one, but I replaced it for a DJ.
But there is an OP in the first photos.
Now pleased to say that was also replaced with another DJ :-)

Ah ... my error ... 3,6,9 DJ in the first image ...

I want to gift my Zenith to my nephew but he's only 11 ... I think I'll have to wait a bit until he's older ....

Not dissimilar pic. Taken about 16 months ago. I do have a third son. He’s not interested in watches so that saved me a few quid.
