    Is the drink Canelazo?

Edit: and is the location Villa de Leyva?

    In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.

Sí, and sí. That was rather quicker than I anticipated.

Canelazo is marvellous stuff on a cool evening, like liquid Christmas pudding.

Well deduced, you are on a roll.

That's a very blurry Ngoc Son Temple in the background.

It's just as well it's that one as it's the only one I know - is it taken from the south side? Hanoi was one of my stand-out work trips.

The geographical knowledge on this thread is astoundingly good.

Exactly right, from the convivial little park to the south:

A couple of years ago (2018) we stayed in a hotel on the southern shore of that lake, our room over looked the lake.

What a fantastic location and what a marvellous place Hanoi is
Genuinely one of the top 2 places I have been. The atmosphere around the lake / park on a Saturday and Sunday night when the close all the roads off is great.

Edit. The bloody upload messed up the quality enough to destroy some of the clues. Serious sleuthing required to crack this one

Edit 2. If you click on the photo and go to the hosting site you’ll be able to get the full res pic. Finding the place should be doable.

That was a good piece of work, haven't google-translated so many Finnish-language websites in years.

    Nice one!

I believe I had a pint there once, and used to pass it on MTB trips to the Malverns. Hanley Swan.

    You are spot on :-)

We spent a few days there this week and enjoyed a lovely meal at The Swan.
The pond was great just to sit and watch the ducks and read a book with a drink.

Too tricky? The clue is in the distance of the photo. Large buildings with steep slanted roof.

The photo is looking towards a large estate with 90 private holiday homes that overlooks a beach on the south coast of Cornwall.

Nah, not that one either. Having established it's in NI, I'll accept that as being close enough!
