Well maybe that’s a new spin for the game.
    The watch is in there.

Ahh. I assumed that was the reflection off your gin and tonic, or summat.

To be honest, I have no idea as the church was locked when I wanted to look inside. It's the Dorfkirche Kaakstedt and it was only really chosen because Kaakstedt translates as Pootown in my linguistically-challenged brain.

    In any case, well done.

A castle, but not Grosmont, this one is very very near the Bristol Channel. Here is another angle on my walk back.

And here is another castle (not my photo) a mile or so across the river from it. They come thick and fast around here.

The 'another castle' I posted a photo of is indeed Candleston Castle. Well searched.
The original post is Ogmore Castle and here it is from the air (not my photo) with the Bristol Channel visible top left. Candleston is not visible in this shot but is off to the right amongst the trees and dunes.

Exactly right - and here’s one of those funky multi-coloured coloured lamp post things, I like them!

I suspect that the strap could be a clue.
