All questions are easy - so long as you know the answer!
Most on here I Have no clue.
I have links to EBRD, so know the building well. I also worked on the Conran refurbishment of the Great Eastern Hotel building and Old Spitalfields Market, (a while back!), so know the area pretty well - and from various angles too....
Well the photos should be such that Google doesn't recognise them. There is no guessing, it is always a research process and searching photos of places is part of the process. But when such a distinct landmark is clearly visible, it boils down to clicking on it, which isn't fun.

Using an internet browser, rather than Tapatalk---->Right click on the photo------>Select 'search the web for image'-------->Similar images appear with location------->Use Bing instead of Google------>Pretend you are either very well travelled, or can pick up on the most cryptic of clues.
Or something similar to the above.
Just take Crazyhair's photo above. No way a Google image search will work, so start a search for monuments with horses/riders and display results as pictures. Not sure where CH is based, narrow down accordingly (a quick trawl through his timeline may give a clue where he is from). Then compare background:

I don't have the time now, but sure you would find something interesting if you hit the right city (I used London in my search above, which may be wrong).

Clue: I'm just in the same ocean as murkeywaters was a week or so back...
No Google image search I meant.
It's actually much more difficult than that in most cases (unlike in the example above where I said that I used image search because it was so obvious).

How about this one ?

In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.
Hopefully the tree will fool a Google image search this time!
I found the tree, does that count?

Easy one.
Extra points if you can tell where I was standing when I took the snap.

I'm going to guess that it's Kirchberg but I can't narrow it down.
In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.
Parc Fondation Pescatore?
In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.
Yes, it's the platform of the elevator that connects the Parc Pescatore to the Pfaffenthal.

Not the Kirchberg I was thinking of :)

I'm going to hazard a guess at Belém Tower, just outside Lisbon.
In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.
That is indeed where it is, where I was this last weekend.
