Very close. The mare has wandered a little. See my second pic as a further clue.

    Guess where

It is Edinburgh, with a rare view from the top of Corstorphine Hill Tower - a folly not open to the public but a treat provided to a group of us who did some volunteer work in the woodland there (hence the thorn bush scratches).
    So you are both right!

    I lost 4:1, btw.

Maybe 20 years ago, hiking in the rain is enough of a challenge :-)

Had to look that one up, but no spelunking.

Had a great time in beautiful Yorkshire, for those who haven't been to Malham and hiked to Janet's Foss, Gordale Scar and onto Malhem Cove and onto the Tarn should give it a go.

We found the heffalump trap, but alas it was bereft of captives.

    Guess where

Booked at the very last minute to escape the weather, but a few too many Brits for my liking.

The press scaremongering for days afterwards certainly helped with last minute availability on what is probably the busiest week of the year for the Med.

The only fire I have seen is the one which has lightly charred my lamb chops and pork souvlaki.

You staying at Finas or Ziakis? The photo seems to have been taking from a spot right in the middle between the two?

The latter, and yes, well done it is taken at the fence between the two. We had the option to book either hotel for the same deal.
