Suggestions for a Green Dialed Watch

I want to add some colour to my collection. I am a bit bored of black and white dialed watches. I've just added the yellow ming which gets delivered next month but really fancy adding a green dialed watch.

I really liked the Hulks but struggle to justify a £14k price on them.

I don't really have a top or bottom end limit. That being said a 5711 at anything over list is beyond me!

Be interested in hearing people's suggestions on the best Green dialed watch.

I actually was thinking the pioneer but I am usually a 40mm or below guy and think it will wear too big on me.

Not really for me these. I think if I was going rolex I'd go hulk.

I do like the mint green datejust but they only make that in 31mm

I have been looking at a lot of the Seikos. Almost too much choice. I have had a lot in the past and always felt cold on them. I think I'd I was going seiko I'd probably try GS

Not sure if there are any of these left, but I rather liked the look of it at release:

Due to be released any time soon from Stowa, I think this is just fantastic.

This is 40mm and it’s lungless, so it wears pretty small. I have sub 6.5” wrists and it’s perfect!

And though IWC usually leaves me cold, this (IW387902) is just lovely:

Minase Divido is purty, too -

Hanhart Pioneer 80th Anniversary is rather nice -

I’m pretty sure there was a green watches thread, not long ago, might be worth looking at that for inspiration.

Otherwise, if you’re thinking of a relatively versatile three hander, the recently announced green dial Longines spirit, looked good to me. Some like the green Aqua Terra too

Not as safe (common?) as a "hulk"...

    ...but therefore much more individual

Yes but Green seems to be the colour of the year so thought there might be some new releases I've missed.

To be fair there has been some great watches posted I've not seen!

Lots of good suggestions, but a lot of expensive suggestions. How about this?

My favourite green dialed watch is the Seiko Alpinist.

They're not cheap these days, though.

You could scratch the itch cheaply, but temporarily with one of the millions of Chinese Sub lookalikes in green (or a dearer clone from elsewhere if you're happy to spend more not to buy obviously Chinese).

    Eterna Kontiki

    Longines Legend Diver

But only if you like bronze, I suppose.

Yes, I am on the hunt for a vintage diver and tried it on a couple of times over the last few weeks although I'm now looking at a Tudor Black Bay. I'd never paid much attention to Rado but the Captain Cook was impressive. Second-hand prices on eBay made it quite attractive (they seemed to be going for about £1000 for very new examples). The watch was very comfortable...nice and slim.

Good luck with whichever you decide to go for, slim is good.

    Here's another "cheapy" to consider.
    A Fossil FB01 in green.
OOS at the moment however Fossil seem to be like CW with their sales strategy.

    Other finishes and straps available.

Mine has this configuration, green dial and blue bezel - lovely quality and customer service at a sensible (relatively) price point.

Yep the GS with their amazing dials are pretty unbeatable at the price point, as Seiko seem hell bent on ramping up their affordable watches higher and higher.
