I'm one of the few fans of the AP 11.59, and I'm probably one of the few happy owners of the first generation three-handed 11.59s that I love.
Not that I'm in the market for a chronograph 11.59, but looking at this image kind of irked me. Why on earth doesn't the circular counterweight on the chronograph second hand align over the center of the continuous seconds dial?

It looks like they’re roughly equidistant from the center, so I’’d guess the “counterpoise” never alights perfectly with the centers of the subdials.Originally Posted by JPCain86

Agree but anyway, arent as important as will rarely be parked over these.
Its not a force.
Only thing I would say is that being above the centre means in use it actually obscures less of the subdial as the arc is less than if it were centered on the subdial.
Id be more concerned with the wonky date window
Any longer would look wrong and be functionally annoying.
Beautiful watch otherwise.

I feel like it should have been a little shorter with a bigger circular bit so that the 60 on the seconds subdial would be in the centre of it. That would look much better IMO
