Incredible effort. I struggle with 150kg! The commentator looks like a unit aswell, look at the shoulders on him!

Wow the way the bar bent!! The bar looks higher than a typical deadlift from starting position anyone know why? Or just cos there’s so much weight on??

I've met Mark a couple of times over the years as the competitive strongman scene is pretty small. His hands were literally the size of shovels. At that point I started to realise that I simple don't have the bone structure / frame to be competitive in top level strongman and compared to the average man on the street I'm quite large!

It's a fantastic effort for someone of any age but can't be directly compared to a standard competition deadlift. The bar starts much higher and is bendier so that the full weight doesn't leave the ground until the last few inches of the lift.

    I’m sure he’s lost his birth certificate,hard to believe he’s 55.
The commentator was a strong man a few years ago ,Irish guy ,can’t remember his name .

He made that look easy. Much easier than when Eddie pulled half a ton for the first time
