I was/am absolutely delighted with my "Baby" Speedbird, for me the perfect size (I had a Speedbird 111 previously) I put it on a DiModell black leather strap and none of my other watches have had much of a look in since! I'm sure you will enjoy it, Cheers, John B4

Thanks John. Really looking forward to receiving it and our host has it packaged up and should be here on Thursday!

It’s a great watch! Very solidly built and tool-like. Enjoy!

The Baby Speedbird is a lovely watch. The caseback sits and connects so nicely on the wrist. The bracelet is lovely, but beware that it has no micro adjusts or half links.

I was just about to buy one as I thought it had the new clasp so thanks for your post!

Just ordered a link removal tool. Bloody hell they are difficult pins to remove!
Sitting on leather now until tool arrives

Doesn't the Babybird bracelet have screws, not pins? In that case, using a link removal tool will cause considerable damage! But I'm happy to be corrected.

Yep, it has screws. Small ones.

Cheers guys. Pleased i wasn't at home when delivered on Friday. Am up in Scotland for a few days. Must be very small slots, i thought it was the split in the pin.
    Phew

That is a superb photo, what a fantastic watch these are, if they had the hype of some of Eddie’s other watches they would be long sold out!

    Thank you

The decision to be made today is what to wear for the match tonight?
    1) Speedbird
    2) Expedition
    3) 17q

Thinking about it might go for the 17 as we are "plunging the depths" of international football and need a solidly built, sturdy, reliable and accurate piece

Mid morning tactical change to the line-up.

Going instead for the expedition. Correct colours in red, white (old English white;-) and blue. Can the boys reach the summit?
