A 1968 Seikomatic. Keeping better time than my 6R35 Alpinist. Very clean dial with a recessed crown at 4 o’clock .

    My birth year 1968 Datejust.

It seems quite small when I first put it on but a few minutes later feels just right!!

My latest watch that I have been looking to buy for a long time.

Its the first fixed bar version and the best if you ask me.

Here is a 36mm (38 to the crown) Citizen. It is full Duratect titanium with an AR coated sapphire crystal. The notable thing about this watch is that Citizen say it is the worlds first full metal, solar, radio controlled watch.

The quality shows up in the fit and finish, with its applied polished metal batons and matt finished metal numerals.
The dial is a very attractive honeycomb pattern, when you examine it closely. The AR coated sapphire crystal gives great clarity to this attractive dial.

Lume still good after 20+ years.

It has a bit of an Explorer vibe to it.

    Can 35mm join in?

I've become a bit smitten with this one after an impulse buy from here. Now I keep looking at Seiko Skyliners.

And also this more obvious choice…

I've only got one 36mm or in and around that size in my watchbox.
It's an Accutron Astronaut with the coffin link bracelet.
It's a watch that I hunted for, bought via auction as a non-runner and had repaired and serviced by Bob Piker in the states, before getting it shipped back to me in Ireland.
It's use by the SR71 crews crosses over 2 big interests of mine.
One old in aviation, and one new in my grŕ for watches.

That said, this watch has been hijacked by my Son and is one that he wears quite often.

My lovely issued W10 - either 36mm or 35.5mm, depending on what you read.

Thanks. The bund strap was handmade in Ukraine (sourced by the previous owner, I think). It was serviced by John Senior prior to my acquiring it too.

I've had this for 4 years now and regard it as a bit of a treasure.

I love a smaller watch, takes a bit of adjustment when you look down to see a smaller piece after years of 40mm+ but.yiu soon readjust
