I sent this link to the guys in the workshop and we all agree: this must be bought by someone with extremely deep pockets, or by someone who's going to do the resto himself. The number of hours and labour costs are going to be extremely high, when a workshop would do this for you.
Looking at the video once again: the guy who stepped out unharmed has lived on 'borrowed time' from that moment on!

Apart from the front end you can really get a sense of the impact by the steering wheel being snapped in half, the driver must have had a white knuckle grip on that wheel while saying brace! brace! brace! BANG..
Must be someone with deep pockets it will never be worth anywhere near what will be spent on it, but hey ho if you have the dollar it’s one of the most beautiful cars every made
The bootlid looks OK. Half way there already.
The money spent will probably pale into insignificance when compared with that would have been needed for the sunken Bugatti
Whoever bought this Jag should probably do something similar to what Peter Mullin did.

Does the drophead refer to the buyer; car should be renamed Beachy Head from the state of it. GLWresto though.
Looks as though a towbar on the front would have helped, but, remarkable the driver survived .
