Wouldn’t the guards themselves be a worthwhile point of enquiry?
Other than that, I’d have thought Weir’s? Probably worth giving them a call to see if there are any records / contracts (or indeed if they have records of ad hoc supply).
I received my grandfathers pocket watch for my 21st birthday. It was stolen before my 25th! I cannot remember the brand but vaguely remember the style. It was a white faced watch with steel outer cover. It was given to him for service in the Irish Garda. I would love to find out more info and potentially replace it.
Long shot but you guys know a lot of stuff on here !

Thank you JGJG
There is actually a Garda Siochana Museum in Dublin Castle - it's located in one of the original towers. I was last in it about 20 years ago when it was run on something of a hobby basis by a retired officer who was a very good friend of an old history teacher of mine. It looks like it might actually be constituted more formally these days even if Covid may get in the way.

Definitely worth making contact.
Edit: Having seen the pictures in this PDF.

the museum has clearly changed from the dusty array of artifacts that were available for inspection on my last visit.
