I wonder if Tudor will update the entire 58 range with the new clasp and if so make it compatible with the current bracelet.
I REALLY hope they do. Also, hope they roll it out to all bb models. They will have a lot of orders for the clasp if they do. Lack of more adjustments/better micro adjusting clasp was a big oversight/poor decision/stupid cost cutting idea. For me that clasp makes the bb range perfect.

I hope they release the clasp separately in steel, so it can be retrofitted to other 58s

Literally the only good thing about this is the new clasp.

The whole bronze watch concept is poor.

I agree someone people will like it but for me it's a terrible boutique watch.

I think this looks pretty good and where else can you get a bronze watch with bracelet? Oris?
The exciting or interesting element for me is that Tudor are further expanding the 58 line. With the Explorer vacating the 39mm space does that offer the prospect of Tudor ditching the BB41 and releasing a version based on the 58 case?

Clasp looks excellent; not my cup of tea the bronze watch but I hope the clasp design will become available for the steel 58s.

In all, I guess Tudor have addressed two complaints of the bb bronze: too big, no bracelet and the clasp looks to be a step forward. So it should be a home run.

Having said that, I feel the bronze craze is on its way out, not sure this model will have much longevity. Though, on a complete tangent I do like the look of the new Hamilton Khaki field bronze, so I’m a hypocrite

    Tudor event on May 25th

    Sorry for the thread resurrection!

For those desperate for new Tudor Submariner, head over to MWR. Some photos have been posted that look to be a prototype or similar of a no date, blue dial Pelagos with 60 minute bezel (why I don’t know) the watch shows signs of wear and it’s marked MN21 and has fixed bars. Pretty much what ID guy predicted.
I will be watching this one closely.

Photos taken from MWR which I believe were taken from Instagram

I hope it’s real and is available for sale soon

Interesting, I quite like it I must admit. It does seem to be a parts bin special though.

MWR recently converted to being a closed forum - you'll need to register.
    In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.

Looks to be a totally different case to me, squared off lugs look almost 62MAS like and then theres the fixed bar across the lugs.

Agreed, this is a new case, dial, bezel. note the 200m rating, I am guessing no HEV.

I've not got access to MWR. What's the story that accompanies the photos? Wonder why this "prototype" has surfaced and why it is so bashed up?

Does nothing for me, especially with the weird cutaway lug design.

No story as far as I can tell. Just images taken from an Instagram account. Might be genuine might be a hoax.

A smaller Pelagos would be right up my street but I don't like the look of the lugs

Interested to see more. This feels like a hoax to me, the case looks a bit crude, bezel is funny looking, odd choice of strap and the scratches seem far too much for an under-the-radar prototype, unless they’re really testing it to destruction.

Hope I’m wrong about all of the above!

Agree. Plus the fact that watch companies don't generally release prototypes to photograph...when have they done that before? We are normally left guessing what is released until the big reveal on release day.
