    Charles Grodin RIP

What a great actor, from The Heartbreak Kid through Beethoven and the sublime Midnight Run.

    86, a decent innings. RIP.

Wow, 86. Sad to hear. I remember him best from The Heartbreak Kid.

Sad, another stalwart from my younger years gone. RIP Charles. I enjoyed Midnight Run the other week, lucky to catch it starting on one of the channels.

[He also made an appearance in Rosemary's Baby, another favourite of mine - let's not mention Beethoven or Beethoven's 2nd.]

Even though I remember him for acting in Midnight Run, when I picture him in my mind's eye, it's always as his character in Beethoven. Weird.

    RIP.

One of the best. Oddly, I thought about him a few days ago, thinking he couldn’t have too long left.

Midnight Run will always be one of my favourite films.

    RIP

Always seemed like or played a gentle , likeable chap. I liked him in midnight run as the accountant but also as the father in Beethoven. RIP

Charles was also excellent in Warren Beatty's 1978 film, Heaven Can Wait.
