    Trafford centre watches

Popped in here as was nearby.
Same old high-street stuff, but there was a rose-gold yachtmaster in Goldsmiths, for RRP of £18k, available to buy right now.

Then, not 50m away, there is a little repair kiosk that also sells pre-owned Rolex.
They had the same YM, 2019 model, for over £20k

    What the f...?

Nobody had the panda chrono Tudor, or anything else of current interest.

    Also, never go here.
    It is soulless.

I only chanced it to see if Gap was open, as they do a good cut of jeans, but that seems to have closed down. :(

Went between lockdowns last summer - actually thought the lower end high street places had decent stuff in them comparatively. I think the Goldsmiths had the fairly new at that point Tudor BB I spent a while looking at but not much else.

Used to go to the cinema at the Trafford centre but that’s about it. That and the selfridges sweets and bakery bit while the other half is looking at clothes...

Maybe it's just the boutique I was at, but try as I might, I couldn't get any sort of a discount on an Avenger. They offered me the "gift" of a Breitling baseball cap, which I declined. Bought the watch anyway the fool that I am...

The one in Goldsmiths is 37mm. Suspect the £20k one you mention is the 40mm.

why? Isn’t the OP is saying they were selling the same 37mm second hand for 20K. Which gleaned the comment. (Difficult to say without being there I guess)

That is correct. YM37 in Goldsmiths window, YM40 in Timepiece window.
